All members may participate. Inter club carnivals are arranged by the carnival organisers. Swimmers must attend club regularly to be included in these carnival teams.  If a child is selected and then unable to swim due to illness, please contact a carnival organiser no later than the morning of the carnival allowing time to find a replacement. Please be at the designated pool 30 minutes prior to the start of the carnival and report to the carnival organiser before commencing the warm-up. An area will be designated for all swimmers and spectators to sit. If swimmers need to the leave the area could they please advise the carnival organiser they are doing so. Competitors are advised that events are marshalled 3-4 events ahead of the actual swim. When called for relay teams stand quietly and LISTEN for the position, stroke and lane in which you will swim.

Selection Criteria

A Grade Carnivals – For each event / stroke the two swimmers in each age group who have recorded the fastest time in that stroke will be selected.
