Criteria for Advancement in Learn to Swim Classes
We all know children develop at different
rates; this is also true with swimming. It is important
children are encouraged every step of the way and allowed to
progress at their own pace. Small words of praise go a long way
towards building your child’s self esteem and confidence. A certificate will be awarded to your child at the progression
to each level.

Learn to Swim classes
- Please remember, Black, Platinum, Senior squad and Junior
squad swimmers need to bring their own fins to classes.
Secondly, please remember to bring a water bottle with you to
class. No water bottle – no swim.
Thirdly… Parents, may I kindly request you avoid
sitting at the shallow end of the pool during Learn to Swim
classes. It is a very noisy area with splashing and teachers
calling out, and we want to try to eliminate as much background
noise as possible. It would be great if you could sit at the
deep end of the pool.
Finally, sometimes there are children running and
climbing around the pool area. Parents, we would be grateful if
you could please supervise your children. The Learn to Swim
teachers need to focus on their classes, so they cannot be
responsible for any unsupervised accidents outside the pool.
